WordPress Training: Displaying a list of links in your sidebar
Some themes will be able to display a list of your links by default but if you aren’t seeing them and you have a widget enabled theme this is easily remedied.
How do you know if you have a widget enabled theme? Head to the appearance menu and select widgets. If your theme doesn’t support widget till I tell you in which case you are at lack of otherwise you’ll see something like this. Anyway to add your links select the appropriate side bar if you have more than one. And click add next to the link option. That will enable to the right. Click save changes and you’ll now be able to see link collection live on your blog.
If you decide to use widgets you should know that they’ll overwrite any existing content on your sidebar so you might need to add things like the search widget, recent comments or page links if those were there already. So if you find some things is vanished you can quickly get them back by adding their corresponding widgets just like you did with the links.
