WordPress Training: Arranging links into categories

If you find that creating a bunch of links that fall into different categories, you might want to categorize them to make them easier to navigate.

Let’s say you have links that you want separated from work related, blogs I love, and my photos and videos categories. Head to links > link categories. To add a category give your descriptive name. finally, you can add an optional description of the category before clicking on add category.

As you can see you can edit it later – either deleting using quick edit for changing the name, or using edit for the full version and putting the description field. If you wanted to lay a whole bunch at once, click on the check boxes, head to actions and choose delete and then click here on apply. So if you find your links getting a bit unwieldy, help people to see the wood from the trees with link categories.
