How to Insert a Profile Picture on WordPress

Hi, everyone. Welcome to BuildMySiteForFree.com. Today’s tutorial is about how you insert a profile picture. And what you want to do to go about this is to scroll down your navigation menu to where it says “Users.” You’re going to open up the submenu and click on your profile, and this will bring you to your profile page where you edit all of your information.

And depending on what version you have or WordPress or if you have installed this as a plugin, what you will have is the option to insert this profile picture. So you just scroll down the page a bit like I’m doing, and you will see right here an empty box where I will be inserting the picture. So here, all you have to do is choose the file that you most likely already have saved in your computer.

And once you have chosen it – I’ll just go ahead and choose this first one. It’s a picture of Boston. Once you have chosen it, before you save it, you have the option to choose which bit of the information here you want to actually have made to the public. And all of this information, if I scroll back up to the top, that you would enter right here.

So you can click accordingly which one you want shown to all of your viewers, but I’m just going to go ahead and scroll down and update my profile to save these changes. And then once I have done that, you can now see that this is my new profile picture, and it will be shown to all of my viewers. And if you ever leave a comment, this will be the picture that is next to your name. And you can always come back and delete the picture and save your changes or upload a new picture as well.

And this has been a video about how to upload a profile picture. Thank you for watching.
